Biryani is a flavorful and aromatic rice dish made with basmati rice, meat (or vegetables), and a blend of spices. It's a one-pot meal that's loved by many!

  1. Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, heat oil and sauté the sliced onions until golden brown.
  3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add the meat and cook until browned.
  4. Add tomatoes, yogurt, and spices. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  5. Add water and bring to a boil. Then, add the rinsed rice and salt.
  6. Cover and cook on low heat until the rice is done and has absorbed all the water.
  7. Garnish with mint and coriander leaves before serving.
