Gulab Jamun is a popular Indian dessert made from milk solids, deep-fried, and soaked in sugar syrup flavored with cardamom and rose water.

  1. In a bowl, mix together the milk powder, flour, and baking soda.
  2. Add ghee and mix until crumbly. Gradually add milk to form a soft dough.
  3. Cover and let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the sugar syrup by boiling water and sugar together until the sugar dissolves. Add cardamom powder and rose water, then set aside.
  5. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. Form small balls from the dough and fry until golden brown.
  6. Drain and soak the fried balls in the warm sugar syrup for at least 30 minutes before serving.
