Spring rolls are a popular Asian appetizer made with thin sheets of dough filled with a variety of ingredients, including vegetables and sometimes meat, then fried or served fresh.

  1. In a large bowl, mix the cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, green onions, and soy sauce.
  2. Take one spring roll wrapper and place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center.
  3. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly from the bottom to seal. Use a little water to seal the edges.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the spring rolls until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve hot with dipping sauce.
