Spring rolls are a popular Asian appetizer made with thin sheets of dough filled with a variety of ingredients, including vegetables and sometimes meat, then fried or served fresh.
Ingredients:
1 package spring roll wrappers
2 cups cabbage (shredded)
1 cup carrots (julienned)
1 cup bean sprouts
1/2 cup green onions (chopped)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Oil for frying
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix the cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, green onions, and soy sauce.
Take one spring roll wrapper and place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center.
Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly from the bottom to seal. Use a little water to seal the edges.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the spring rolls until golden brown and crispy.
